We stock a range of crocus bulbs including the early flowering tommasinianus varieties, the larger flowered Dutch bred vernus types and some of the more unusual multi-coloured sieberi and chrysanthus hybrids. Crocuses are actually a really versatile plant and can be grown successfully under trees, in beds and borders, in pots or in rockeries and will be at their best when the bulbs are planted in a location where they can get as much sun as possible to help those lovely flowers to open. One great way to plant crocuses is to scatter a handful of bulbs on your lawn, plant them where they land and they will happily naturalise over the coming years. Crocus flowers are really beneficial to bees and other insects in the early spring months when there are few other pollen sources available to them. As well as our single varieties we also offer mixed crocus bulb collections. You can read our guide to crocus types to get more information on the different varieties of bulb that we offer.
