Dahlia 'David Howard' Planting Instructions
Plant your tubers outdoors in the late spring when the chance of frost has passed. To get a head start you can plant your tubers up in pots in a greenhouse or indoors and transfer them to the garden after the risk of frost. Store in a cool, dry, frost free environment until planting. Dahlias prefer a sunny position and should be planted 10 - 12 cm deep and around 45 - 60 cm apart.
